IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BOOK

Refund and Cancellation Policy

How cancellations, booking changes and eligible refunds are handled by Travelution Holidays.

Understanding this policy

By making a booking or purchase with Travelution Holidays, customers are deemed to have read and accepted the applicable Terms and Conditions. Cancellation, change and refund rights are also governed by the rules of the relevant supplier, including Club Med, airlines, accommodation providers and transport operators.

How to request a cancellation or refund

Requests must be made directly to Travelution Holidays by the person who made the booking. Written notice may be required. The date we receive a complete request is used to determine any applicable cancellation charge. For security and privacy reasons, third party requests may not be accepted.

Products that may be non refundable

Some products become non refundable, non changeable or non transferable once purchased or issued. These may include promotional or restricted fares, airline add ons, admission and attraction tickets, transport tickets, vouchers, SIM cards, travel passes, commenced insurance policies and any service treated as a no show. The specific booking conditions provided with your quotation or confirmation will apply.

Club Med booking changes

For changes requested more than 60 days before departure, written notice is required. A name, resort or date change may incur a supplier or administration charge, together with any price difference. If transport tickets have been issued, carrier amendment or cancellation charges may also apply. Changes requested within 60 days of departure are generally treated as a cancellation of the original booking and the applicable cancellation charges will apply. Non refundable rates cannot be changed or cancelled.

Club Med cancellation schedule

For Club Med bookings made in Malaysia, the following cancellation charges generally apply to the Club Med holiday cost. The exact conditions supplied with your booking take precedence.

60 DAYS OR MORE BEFORE DEPARTURE

Deposit forfeited

59 TO 31 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE

50% of cost

30 TO 15 DAYS BEFORE DEPARTURE

70% of cost

14 TO 0 DAYS OR NO SHOW

100% of cost

Air, ferry, coach or train tickets may carry separate amendment or cancellation charges once issued. Additional supplier or administration fees may apply as stated in your quotation or booking confirmation.

How eligible refunds are processed

Refunds are subject to supplier approval and will only be processed after Travelution Holidays receives the relevant funds from the supplier. This may take up to six months. Cash refunds are normally returned through the original payment method after applicable cancellation charges, supplier fees, merchant or bank charges and other stated deductions. Where the original payment was made in another currency, the final amount may be affected by the exchange rate used when the refund is received or processed.

Unused services

No refund is normally available for unused airfare, accommodation, meals, lessons, lift passes, sightseeing, transfers, transport or other services included in a package, unless the supplier’s conditions expressly provide otherwise.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend arranging appropriate travel insurance as soon as your booking is confirmed. Your policy should be reviewed carefully to ensure it covers the cancellation circumstances, medical needs and winter sports activities relevant to your trip. Insurance claims must be made directly with the insurer under the terms of the policy.
