The Tignes Val d’Isère domain offers 163 slopes across 300 km, with much of the skiing above 2,200 metres. Its 24 green, 65 blue, 40 red and 32 black runs give mixed-ability groups plenty of room to progress, while 76 lifts and extensive snowmaking support dependable access.

Family programmes cover children and teenagers from 0 to 17 years, with group ski lessons included from age four, subject to programme availability. The broad terrain helps parents, beginners and stronger skiers settle into different daytime rhythms while sharing the same resort.

Tignes sits high in the Tarentaise valley. Transfer time varies with the chosen airport, traffic and weather, so we compare Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble and Chambéry with rail connections through Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
Travelution note: winter weekend traffic can materially change transfer times. We match flights, trains and shared or private transfers before recommending the final route.
