THE RESORT IN ONE VIEW

Powder without giving up family ease.

Kiroro Grand brings Club Med’s all-inclusive ski formula to a quieter corner of Hokkaido. It combines direct slope access, lessons for different levels, children’s facilities and a lively family atmosphere in one straightforward base.

Travelution view: choose Kiroro Grand when the group includes younger children, first-time skiers or adults who want excellent snow without the more adult-oriented mood of neighbouring Kiroro Peak.

SKIING & SNOW

Hokkaido powder with terrain for every level.

The Kiroro domain rises from approximately 520 metres to 1,180 metres and is known for dependable snowfall. Club Med lists 23 courses across beginner, intermediate and advanced terrain, with ski-in ski-out access simplifying the daily routine.

FAMILIES & CHILDREN

Designed for a shared first or next ski week.

Kiroro Grand welcomes families and offers children’s facilities from age two and above, subject to the applicable programme and advance arrangements. The combination of clubs, lessons and ski-in ski-out access reduces the friction that often shapes a family ski holiday.

The practical advantage is not merely childcare. It is the ability for different ages and confidence levels to follow separate daytime rhythms, then regroup easily within the same resort.

Rooms for real family configurations

Superior, Deluxe and Suite categories include family-oriented options. Room placement varies by category, so adjoining or nearby-room expectations should be checked before booking rather than assumed.

Japanese and international dining

The dining programme gives families variety across the week, while Hokkaido ingredients and Japanese touches keep the resort connected to its setting. Specific restaurants and opening arrangements can vary by season.

Club Med Kiroro Grand Airport Transfer

GETTING THERE

The flight timing matters as much as the transfer.

New Chitose Airport is the usual gateway. Club Med indicates approximately two hours for shared transfers and around 90 minutes for a private transfer, subject to weather and traffic.

Travelution note: late arrivals and early departures can fall outside collective-transfer schedules. We check flight times and transfer eligibility together before recommending an itinerary.

TRAVELUTION’S PRACTICAL VIEW

Who should choose Kiroro Grand?

Best fit

Families with younger children, first-time or mixed-ability groups, and travellers prioritising Hokkaido snow with an easy resort routine.

Consider carefully

Room proximity requirements, children’s club age rules, flight arrival times and whether experienced adults want a more intimate or adult-led atmosphere.

Compare with

Kiroro Peak for a quieter 12+ experience; Tomamu for a larger, activity-rich family resort; Sahoro for a more compact and traditional feel.
